Synopsis

On a dark night in a small Danish harbour, Ulf receives a logbook from a lone sailor who then disappears. The log's bizarre records lead Ulf and his friend, Torben, into a dangerous winter crossing of the North Sea to Scotland. They soon notice the black fishing boat in their wake, trailing close behind them... As they pass through the Caledonian Canal, a small boat explodes in the last stretch, nearly killing them. Fear and paranoia take hold as they begin to suspect that someone wants them dead. Before long, Ulf and Torben find themselves dangerously embroiled with arms smugglers, a Druidic cult, and some of the world's most treacherous waters.
